Jessica MacGill

Jessica MacGill (formerly Jessica McKinney) has represented debtors in bankruptcy for over fifteen years and has filed over 1,000 cases. She gained much of her experience in Minnesota before relocating to the Seattle/Tacoma area in 2014. She graduated Cum Laude from Hamline University School of Law in 2003 and began working in her own practice. While in Minnesota, Jessica was an officer of the Bar Association’s Bankruptcy section for 5 years and was instrumental in planning continuing legal education seminars for bankruptcy attorneys. She has given numerous presentations on bankruptcy law. She has participated in the Local Rules Committee in Minnesota where she assisted in drafting proposed local rules and amendments to local rules for the Minnesota Bankruptcy Courts.

Jessica is passionate about assisting debtors through this difficult and challenging time. She approaches each case with kindness and non-judgmental compassion. She has broad legal experience and an intimate understanding of the bankruptcy code. She explains the laws in simple terms that her clients can understand. She has handled both consumer and business cases and takes on both simple and complex cases. She sees bankruptcy as a tool that really can make a significant change in peoples lives.
